#MicroblogMonday, pictures

This is a very common sight when I am cooking dinner. Today was no exception.

And of course, when Momma uses the camera, the munchkin has to use it too.

  1. My boys would raid the lower drawers on the kitchen when I was cooking. And I have realised recently how happy I am that the boys have outgrown their vandalising-the-tupperware-drawer phase. It has been really nice to have my tupperware drawer back to its tidy state. My ocd is all tickled pink about it. 🙂

    • Oh, yes, the other half of the time he does clear out the plastic container drawer. Sometimes even the lid box gets taken out, lids on the floor and Paxlet sits in the box. He won’t be fitting in that much longer. I love it though.

    • I’m not sure if it is just the kitchen, but rather the room that mom/dad is in.
It’s hard to keep track of everyone else’s kids, much less your own. Everyone grows so fast. 🙂

  2. It’s like an obstacle course. It feels like it should be a reality tv show. Can you cook dinner in X amount of minutes with a whole floor full of toys?

    • Well, that’s just level 2 of the game (kid(s), cats and/or toys on the floor). Level 3 is moving targets..and so on. And not only can you get dinner on the table in a set amount of time, it is without burning the food, stepping on someone or something or slipping, etc.

  3. I have the teeniest little horseshoe shaped kitchen and for the most part everyone knows not to crowd the cook (for safety reasons!) but there are times when all 4 of us (and occasionally the cat) will end up there at the same time and I have to usher everyone out!

What do you think?
